Founded in 2007, the Reaching People in Need (RPN) is one of the philanthropic agencies working in the field of Health, Nutrition’s & Family Planning, Education, Water & Sanitation, Empowerment and development contexts, supporting left behind communities in over 14 districts of Bangladesh. Seeing the devastating frenzy of cyclone SIDR in 2007, some young and dynamic youth had decided to establish this humanitarian organization. RPN is focus on intersectionality within the core client groups of women, girls, children & youth with special emphasis on left behind groups most who are in risk of displacement and affected due to climate induced. RPN is working nationally including costal area in Bangladesh focusing on strategic point that is act as a catalyst to build will-force of the demoralize people that they can ensure better life themselves with more emphasis on the sustainable development. That is why the RPN sets it mission vision and strategies to build a country free from hunger, poverty and discrimination.
The Organization’s mission is to eradicate poverty and to achieve economic and social well-being for vulnerable section of community and to prepare them in adding mainstream development process; so that they can enjoy dignified life.
The organization’s vision is a Bangladesh free from hunger, poverty and discrimination where all have access to a decent, standard living and lead healthy, happy and prosperous life with dignity and respect.
