YYD Ramadan Food for Rohingya-2024

The world has witnessed the worst refugee influx in Cox’s Bazar in 2017. Near about 1,200,000 refugees
has been forced to live in the camps congested with unnumbered problems. The refugees are located in
temporary settlements on hilly areas of Cox’s Bazar in inadequate facilities of water, sanitation, food &
shelter. They live in hardship life. Their hardship during Ramadan increases more due to lack of
uninterrupted supply of food. So, they can’t perform fasting easily due to lack of sufficient food.
In this situation, RPN already distributed 150 food pack to camp 19 on 31 March 2024 by the support of
YYD Doktorlari, Turkiye. Based on successful distribution of previous pack, RPN plans to distribute 200
Ramadan food packs again. Due to overwhelming demand, we are planning to distribute 200 packs by
increasing 50 packs from the 31March 2024 distribution.
